Here At The Sports Desk is a blog published by Neil Borenstein to discuss anything and everything going on in sports and sports entertainment. From baseball to ice hockey, professional wrestling to MMA, Neil will be right here to post about the world of athletic competition and the business behind it.

Neil Borenstein is a graduate of Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. He recently obtained his master’s degree in public relations to add to bachelor’s degrees in radio/television/film and journalism, as well as a minor in law and justice. During his undergraduate years, Neil was sports editor for his school newspaper, The Whit, and participated as a DJ and sports department member at the campus radio station, Rowan Radio 89.7-WGLS.FM. In April 2005, he started writing for the pop culture Web site, 411mania.com, as the author of Inside The Penalty Box, a weekly column about professional ice hockey. In August 2005, he picked up a baseball column titled MLB Fastball. Neil continues to write both columns, in addition to writing DVD reviews and participate in occasional wrestling roundtable previews. Recently, Neil started writing a weekly WWE Monday Night RAW recap column - The Good, The Bad, The In-The-Middle – at 1wrestling.com.

Neil hopes to start a career in the sports and/or entertainment industry in a communications capacity, with the ultimate ambition of one day working as a creative team writer at World Wrestling Entertainment.
